GUWAHATI: Two persons died in a road accident at Rangjuli under Goalpara district in the wee hours today.
The mishap took place when a Traveller bearing registration number AS02 B-C 9954 hit a roadside tree on NH 17 at Rangjuli.
Two men identified as Habibur Rahman and Matibur Rahman from Juria of Nagaon district died in the accident. They were returning to Juria after taking part in the Urs festival at Jaleswar in Goalpara district.
Thirty other passengers were also injured in the accident.
