GUWAHATI: Assam state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass visited the family of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer Ikram Hussain who lost his life due to COVID-19 in Delhi. Hussain, a sub-inspector of CRPF’s 31st battalion passed away at Safdarjung Hospital on Tuesday. He hailed from Barpeta district in lower Assam.
“Visited the family of Crpfindia jawan Ikram Hussain, who lost his life battling #COVID19 in #Delhi yesterday, to express my condolences. May his family find the strength to bear this tragic loss. May his departed soul rest in peace,” Dass tweeted.
According to reports, the janaja of the CRPF officer will be performed in Delhi.
