GUWAHATI: Assam has provided 3 metric tonnes oxygen to Manipur in view of shortage of oxygen in the neighboring state. Health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said the surplus resources of Assam are always available to help all in the Northeast region as well as elsewhere in the country amid ongoing COVID-19 situation.
Taking to Twitter, Sarma writes, “I am pleased to share that Assam has had the privilege to serve #Manipur with 3 MT Oxygen in view of shortage there. Our surplus resources are always available to help all in the North East region and elsewhere.”
