GUWAHATI: Assam Police will act tough against the people violating lockdown rules. Speaking to media, Assam director general of police (DGP) Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta said that there will be no relaxation in lockdown enforecemnt till April 20.
“We wills strictly enforce the lockdown in the state. There will be no relaxation till April 20. We will review the situation after April 20.”
DGP Mahanta stated that police will take action against the unauthorised people venturing out to the streets without any valid reason.
However, police has taken all the necessary steps to help the senior cirizens as well as people in distress.
