GUWAHATI: The Assam Police sub-inspector recruitment exam was successfully conducted on Sunday, two months after it was cancelled in the wake of the question paper leak scam. The exam was held across 150 centres in the state.
Dibrugarh University conducted the examination for the recruitment of 597 posts. Nearly 65,000 candidates had downloaded their admit cards till Saturday night.
Meanwhile, chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal has thanked all the officials and authorities associated with the examination.
“CM Shri @sarbanandsonwalhas thanked Dibrugarh University, @DGPAssamPolice, civil & police administration and all involved in the process of conducting the re-examination of Assam Police SI recruitment. The CM also thanked the people of the state for their cooperation,” the chief minister office tweeted.
