GUWAHATI: In a major breakthrough in the Assam Police sub-inspector (SI) written test scam case, Crime Branch has recovered a list of 40 persons from Apollo Hospital in Guwahati. It has been suspected that the list contains names of the candidates who were part of the nexus to get the jobs by unfair means.
The Crime Branch recovered the list in an operation at Apollo Hospital. Meanwhile, it will interrogate Pranab Bora and Pranjal Sarma, two accused in the case to ascertain whether the names in the lists are of the candidates for sub-inspector posts or not.
It may be noted that Pranab and Pranjal were employees of Apollo Hospital.
