GUWAHATI: An FIR has been filed at Criminal Investigation Department (CID) following the leakage and circulation of question paper for sub-inspector recruitment test in Assam Police. The test was cancelled on Sunday after the leakage was reported.
“In the interest of justice to the aspiring candidates and to ensure merit based selection, on the direction of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, the examination was cancelled. An FIR is filed with CID, Assam, to investigate and take legal action against the culprits,” said chairman of State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam in a press release.
