Assam Police SI Admit Card 2020 to Release on 16 November, Exam on 22 Nov

Guwahati:  The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released the exam date and admit card date for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (UB). As per the notice, Assam Police SI Admit Card shall be released on 16 November 2020 on its official website – slprbassam.in.

Assam Police SI Written Exam is scheduled to be held on November 22 at various examination centers in the state from 12 noon to 2 pm. The Candidates should report at the exam centre minimum 2½ hours prior to the starting time of the exam i.e. they must report by 9:30 am, due to COVID-19 Protocols.

It is to be noted that on September 20, the SI examination was held in 154 centers across the state. Fifteen minutes after the commencement of the examination for a total of 589 SI posts, the examination was cancelled  as the papers were leaked. Pradeep Kumar, the then principal of the State Police Recruitment Board, immediately canceled the SI examination after learning of the incident.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is continuing its investigation into the incident. 1 month 20 days after the incident, the state-level Police Recruitment Board has officially announced the re-conduct of the SI examination. Accordingly, the candidates appearing for the examination on September 20 will have to collect a new admit card. Admit card will be available on 16th November and Candidates can download the Admit Card online.

On the homepage, click on the ‘Admit Card Portal’ link

The link to download the SI Recruitment Admit Card will be visible on the page

Click on the link and login using application DI/ email ID / phone number

Your admit card will be displayed on the screen

Download and take its print out.

Candidates who clear the written test will have to pass the physical standard and efficiency tests followed by a medical examination. Written exam will comprise of 100 questions each carrying one mark. The exam will be OMR based.
