Guwahati: Assam Police has launched a massive search operation to nab the culprits in Zubeen Garg attack case in Guwahati on Wednesday night.
According to reports, the six-member group grabbed Zubeen’s car and started making obscene remarks. The miscreants got out of the car with a bottle of liquor in their hands. The gang was in a vehicle number AS-01-BY0675.
The car is registered in the name of a man named Hirak Rajbangshi.
Assam Police later on raided Hirak’s East Sharaniya’s house and detained his brother for further questioning. Currently Hirak is on run and the police are continuing their search for the accused.
On the other hand, the Commissioner of Police said that the accused would be convicted soon.
Zubeen Garg has lodged a complaint with the Dispur police station regarding the incident.
