GUWAHATI: Assam Police expressed its salutation to the brave Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on 82nd Raising Day of the paramilitary force.
“On this #CRPFRaisingDay, we salute the valor and courage of our sisters & brothers of @crpfindia, who put their life at risk everyday serving the people.
The Naton will be forever indebted for the supreme sacrifices made by CRPF brave hearts,” Assam Police tweeted.
The CRPF came into existence as Crown Representative’s Police on July 27, 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on the enactment of the CRPF Act on December 28, 1949. It has completed 80 years of glorious history. CRPF has the mandate to secure internal security scenario of the country.
