GUWAHATI: A constable of Tinsukia Police in upper Assam succumbed to COVID-19 infection. The police man named Bhuban Likson breathed his last at Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh on Tuesday after fighting Coronavirus. He was detected with COVID-19 on August 2.
Meanwhile, Assam director general of police (DGP) Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta has promised all the necessary assistance to the family of the Corona warrior who made the supreme sacrifice.
“All necessary assistance will be provided to the family of our brave #CoronaWarrior, ABCn Bhuban Likson, who made the supreme sacrifice,” the DGP tweeted.
