GUWAHATI: Assam Police arrested 3 drug peddlers along with contraband in western Assam’s Dhubri district. Police arrested the peddlers from Jhagrapar during ‘Naka’ checking and follow-up raids.
A car bearing West Bengal’s registration number (WB-06A-2526) was also seized.
The arrested persons have been identified as Rahul Prasad of Dhubri, Nasir Amin Sk of Jhagrapar-I and Monisur Islam of Gauripur.
Among them Rahul Prasad is a repeated offender.
“3 Drug Peddlers caught by Dhubri PS during Naka checking at Jhagrapar and follow up Raids. Car WB-06A-2526 and Drugs SEIZED. ARRESTED Rahul Prasad, 25 of Dhubri (repeat Offender) Nasir Amin Sk, 27 of Jhagrapar-I Monisur Islam, 50 of Gauripur,” Dhubri Police stated in a tweet.
