Guwahati: Assam Police on Wednesday announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh for any information leading to the arrest of each of those involved in the killing of its personnel during the Mizoram border clash on Monday.
Assam Special DGP GP Singh tweeted that a case has been lodged at Dholai Police station about the killing of Assam Police personnel on July 26.
Taking to his Twitter Sing wrote, “Dholai PS Case No 236/21 under sections 120(B),447,336,379,333,307,302 IPC read with Section 25 (1-A) of Arms Act and Section 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public property Act 1984 has been registered on July 27th 2021 about killing of Assam Police personnel on July 26th”.

Also, in another tweet, the Special DGP informed that Assam Police also announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh for information leading to arrest of each individual involved in the barbaric killing of Assam Police personnel in the incident.
