Assam Police: 1074 Arrests made, 446 cases registered during lockdown

GUWAHATI: Assam Police has been taking stern action against those violating 21-day nationwide lockdown rules in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak. Police has been working round the clock to strengthen the fight against COVID19.

Till Sunday, 1074 people have been arrested in Assam for violating lockdown guidelines. Whereas 794 incidents of lockdown violation took place during this period, 446 cases have been registered across the state. On the other hand, 4293 vehicles have also been detained.

The information has been shared by Assam Police on its official Social Media accounts.
