GUWAHATI: Though many people stranded in different parts of the country are returning to Assam with the partial resumption of passenger train services, Assam people who are not returning to the state during this period will get Rs. 2000 for next three months from Assam Government.
Addressing a press meet in Guwahati, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Assam people who are not returning to the state from other parts of the country will get Rs. 2000 for next three months under Assam Cares initiative.
