Guwahati: In a shocking incident a Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawan was abducted by a group of four miscreants from Maligaon area in Guwahati on Wednesday at around 6 PM. The missing person has been identified as Prasenjeet Rai.
The incident has created a sensation in the entire area.
According to reports, a group of four miscreants on a four-wheeler abducted Prasenjeet from near the NF Railway Headquarters, Guwahati while he was on duty.
Prasenjeet Rai’s family members suspect it to be a case of kidnapping and have registered a case at the Jalukbari Police Station. An investigation is underway into the allegations, but no arrests have been made so far.
