GUWAHATI: At a time when the world has been saluting the health workers for their fight against COVID-19, three nurses reportedly faced molestation attempt at Assam’s Biswanath on Saturday night. According to reports, miscreants tried to molest three nurses of a private nursing home in-front of a petrol pump when they were on their way to home.
The nurses immediately raised alarm. The employees of the private hospital caught one miscreant—Dharmendra Sarma. Later they handed over the miscreant to police. The incident has created sensation in the Biswanath area.
The local people and the health workers have demanded stringent action against the culprits. They also demanded safety of nurses as well as health workers.
