GUWAHATI, April 8: Assam has emerged as India’s 3rd fastest-growing State, achieving an impressive 7.94% GDP growth rate at constant prices, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma stated on Tuesday.
“Assam is now India’s 3rd fastest growing state, with a GDP growth rate of 7.94% at constant prices.
Our pro-investor policies & sustained investments in infrastructure, institutions & individuals are driving this growth. A few years ago, this was unthinkable,” Chief Minister Dr Sarma stated in a post on his social media handles today (April 8).
