Guwahati: Within 24 hours of the incident, Nagaon Police on Wednesday (October 20) arrested three minors aged between 8 and 11 years and an adult in connection with the murder of the minor girl who refused to watch pornographic clips with them.
On Tuesday a 6-year-old minor girl was allegedly killed by three juveniles for refusing to watch adult content with them in Assam’s Nagaon district.
According to reports, the girl’s body was found in a toilet at a stone quarry in Kaliabor area on Tuesday.
As per the report, the three juveniles who lived near the victim’s home are porn addicts.
Reportedly, on Tuesday they lured the victim to the stone quarry where they tried to get her to watch those clips. When she refused, they killed her with stones.
On Wednesday, the police nabbed three minors aged between 8 and 11 and one adult who is the father of one of the three juveniles.
The police have also seized the phone of the accused filled with pornographic clips.
“Unfortunate murder of 6 year old girl at Missa, Kaliabor solved within 24 hours. 3 juveniles, 1 adult arrested. Accused aged between 8 and 11 are porn addicts capable of conspiracy and gruesome execution of a dastardly crime. Seems it’s time for introspection and social intervention,” Nagaon police tweeted on Wednesday.
Nagaon Superintendent of Police Anand Mishra in a tweet wrote, “Family/Social intervention & institutional guidance to the kids could have saved these 4 young lives. 1 Lost Life, 3 Lost for Life. It can happen with anyone of us or anyone around us. If our upcoming generations fail on socio-moral standards, Responsibility lies greatly upon us.”
