Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday informed that a meeting was held with Meghalaya counterpart Conrad Sangma to discuss the developments related to the border dispute between both states.
Both the Chief Ministers alongside Chairmen and members of the three regional committees which were formed last month were present at a virtual meeting.
Takin to his Twitter CM Sarma wrote, “To ensure lasting solution to border issues in true spirit of brotherhood, held a VC with HCM Meghalaya Sri @SangmaConrad. Six Regional Committees formed earlier (3 from each state) will complete joint inspections in areas of difference by Oct 20 for mutually agreeable solutions.”
