GUWAHATI:The four-year-old girl child from Pulibar in Assam’s Jorhat district who was suspected of being infected with Covid-19 has been found negative after retest at ICMR- Regional Medical Research Centre at Lahowal, Dibrugarh.
“The 4 year old child who was suspected of #covid19 and tested in Jorhat Medical College and RMRC, Dibrugarh has been found NEGATIVE. There is no Covid19 positive case in Assam so far,” Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.

Earlier on Saturday, the girl was tested positive for coronavirus at Jorhat Medical College and Hospital. However, the sample of the four-year was sent to Regional Viral and Diagnostic Laboratory at RMRC, Dibrugarh for retest which found it negative.
