GUWAHATI: Sharing the new looks of Weavers’ Service Centre in Guwahati, union cabinet minister for textiles and women and child development Smriti Irani termed Assam as a home to unique weaving patterns and designs.
“Assam is home to unique weaving patterns and designs; DRC in Guwahati will offer all the stakeholders a deep understanding in technique and quality of workmanship,” the minister tweeted.

Meanwhile, Assam finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma also replied to her tweet.
