GUWAHATI: An improvised explosive device (IED) has been recovered near National Highway 38 at Digboi under upper Assam’s Tinsukia district on Wednesday morning. The IED has been recovered in Bogapani area under Digboi Police Station.
Meanwhile, a team of Indian Army from Dinjan camp has rushed to the spot. The bomb disposal team of Army has defused the IED. The incident has created traffic congestion in the area.
