Assam HSLC results to be declared in May first week

GUWAHATI: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) expects to declare the results of Assam High Madrassa (AHM) & High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) in the first week of May.

 “We are positive about announcing the results in the first week of May. The examinations were held smoothly with a number of measures taken by the Board to ensure proper security and discipline throughout the examination process. Similarly, a number of measures have been taken to ensure accurate and timely announcement of the results,” SEBA chairman RC Jain told The Assam Tribune.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) conducted ‘Disha’— a ‘Psychometric Test’ at 719 centers in Assam and 44,460 students appeared in the test.

It is to be mentioned that a total of 3,58,446 students had appeared in the 2020 HSLC (matriculation) examination this year.

The board took preventive measures to stop students from using cellphones and other such devices. Mobile signal Jammers and CCTV cameras were also installed at various exam centers across the state.
