Guwahati: Assam Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said that results of class 10 under Assam Secondary Education Board (SEBA) will be declared in the first week of June and the classes of Class 10 and Class 12 will be resumed after June 15.
Addresing the media Dr. Sarma said, “We have decided to declare the result of Class 10 in the first week of June and then we will start with admission process. We are planning to resume the classes of 10 and 12 as soon as possible. We are hoping that the number of people coming from different states in Assam will gradually come down till June 15. So there won’t be much problem for the schools to reopen which the government is using as quarantine centres. People coming after June 10 will be quarantined in hotels”.
Dr. Sarma also added, “I personally feel that Classes of 10 and 12 should start from June 15.”
However he stated that the decisions will be taken by the Centre.
