GUWAHATI: The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations under the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) will commence from the first week of March in 2021. The online form fill up for the exams will take place in November this year.
Candidates will have to make the online submission of forms from November 2 to 23.
Earlier, Assam education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the HSLC and HS final year exams would not be deferred. He stated that delaying the exams would create problems for the students in terms of medical and engineering tests. The education minister said that exams would take place with reduced syllabus.
“If the exams are deferred at the national level there is no issue for the students from Assam. The central government is not in favour of deferring the exams. Therefore, I request the students to study well. We will also help them. We have reduced the course,” Dr. Sarma said.
