Assam: HSLC/AHM exams from 10th Feb, CCTV, mobile jammers in some centres

GUWAHATI: The HSLC (Matric)/ AHM examinations, 2020, will begin from 10th February 2020.

A total of 3,58,446 students will appear for the 2020 HSLC (matriculation) exam across 860 centers in Assam.

Meanwhile, The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has stated that students will have to use black ink to write in the exam this session.

The High School Leaving Certificate(HSLC)Exam and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Exams will be conducted under CCTV (Closed-circuit television) cameras.

Signal Jammers will be installed in various exam centers across the state to prevent students from using cellphones and other such devices.

On January 27, SEBA Chairman, R.C. Jain told News Live that students caught cheating, carrying mobile phones and disobeying invigilators will face suspension for the next three years.
