GUWAHATI: “Assam has become a model in COVID-19,” said health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on News Live’s show ‘Prekhyapat’ with Chief Managing Editor Syed Zarir Hussain.
Dr. Sarma stated that Assam has showed exemplary models in handling COVID-19 pandemic.
“From testing to quarantine, treatment, behaviours of doctors,health workers and setting up of plasma banks, Assam has become a model for the rest of India,” health minister Sarma said.
He also commended the selfless service rendered by the doctors, health workers and other Corona warriors in the state.
“They are no less than soldiers fighting war,” Sarma added.
