GUWAHATI: The Assam government is going to set up 60 more COVID-19 screening centres in Guwahati.
Addressing a press meet in Guwahati, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “150 laboratory technicians will be recruited soon. Their jobs will be permanent.”
He stated that 3 lakh tests need to be conducted to ensure normalcy in Guwahati during the unlock.
“So far, we have done 1 lakh 10 thousand tests in Guwahati,” he added.
