Assam Governor holds meeting with heads of higher educational institutions, asks them to make Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue a success

GUWAHATI, Dec 3: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya today held a meeting in hybrid mode with heads of higher educational institutions of the State over the upcoming Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue i.e. the re-imagined National Youth Festival, 2025.

Apprising the heads of the institutions of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, the Governor while asking them to ensure maximum participation of students in the dialogue, took note of the preparations made so far in this regard. Governor Acharya said that a significant highlight of the event is the Viksit Bharat Challenge which will give adequate exposure to the students to showcase their knowledge on the nation and the growth it has been experiencing in different fields.

He, therefore, asked the heads of the institutions to encourage their students to register through MY Bharat Portal (https://mybharat.gov.in). He also said that through registration in the portal the students can participate in the Viksit Bharat Challenge comprising quiz, an essay writing segment and development of a vision deck.

The Governor during the meeting also stated that as leaders of educational institutions, they can play an important role in making this event a success. Institutions are the crucibles where ideas take shape, and leaders are nurtured. Therefore, he requested all the heads to motivate the students to register on the MY Bharat Portal and explore the myriad opportunities it offers.

The Governor also asked them to conduct awareness campaigns, workshops, and orientation sessions to highlight the benefits of the Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue. The Governor also said that the institutions which will have higher registration as well as participation will be acknowledged and awarded at Raj Bhavan.
