GUWAHATI: Amid ongoing COVID-19 lockdown in Assam, a beheaded body of a young girl was recovered in Dharmapur area in lower Assam’s Nalbari district on Monday night. The girl’s age has been estimated to be around 25 years. The body was noticed by the local people of the area.
The unidentified body was found at Dharmapur Durga Mandir Complex. The incident has sparked sensation and fear among the local residents. Meanwhile, police arrived on the spot and arranged post-mortem of the body. Police has been investigating into the incident to ascertain the identity and exact reasons of the death of the girl.
