GUWAHATI: In a win for Assam Police, officials and personnel of Kokrajhar Police seized 51 packets of ganja worth Rs 1 crore from a truck on Sunday.
Police intercepted the truck at Srirampur bordering West Bengal and recovered 51 packets of contraband weighing 572.800 kg.
“Breaking the buds! A truck was intercepted at Srirampur & 51 Pkts of Ganja, weighing 572.800 kgs worth 1 Cr recovered & two arrested The secret compartment in driver’s cabin couldn’t save the carriers,” Kokrajhar Police tweeted.
