Assam: Fully vaccinated passengers exempted from testing at rail stations, airports

GUWAHATI: The incoming passengers who had inoculated with the final dose of COVID-19 vaccine have been exempted from mandatory testing at rail stations and airport in Assam, said a government order issued on Friday.

“It is hereby ordered that people who have been vaccinated with two doses of COVID vaccine, shall be exempted from mandatory testing on arrival at airports or railway stations in Assam from outside the state provided they produce a valid certificate depicting the fully vaccinated status of person with two doses of COVID vaccine,” the order issued by the principal secretary to the health and family welfare department stated.
