Guwahati: Assam Finance Minister Ajanta Neog will table the annual Budget for fiscal 2021-22 in the State Assembly on Friday.
The Budget Session of the Assam Assembly for 2021-22 commenced on Monday (12th July) in Guwahati.
This is the first State Budget under the new BJP-led coalition government at Dispur under Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The budget will be tabled at 3 pm today by the Finance Minister.
Neog is the first women Finance Minister of the State.
The Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will continue till August 13 with 15 working days.
