Guwahati: The elephant safari at the Kaziranga National Park in Assam will be discontinued for this tourist season from May 1.
However, the jeep safari will continue till May 15.
The jeep safari will be subjected to the condition of tourist roads depending on the onset of monsoon/intensity of rainfall.
“This is for general information to all concerned that Elephant Safari for this tourist session 2021-22 shall be closed from 1st of May, 2022. The Jeep Safari will continue till 15th of May, 2022 subject to condition of tourist road depending on onset of monsoon/intensity of rainfall,” an official notice stated.
