Assam down town University signs MoU with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology

Guwahati: Assam down town University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology on Tuesday, 23rd August.

The MoU was signed by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Assam down town University Prof. N.C. Talukdar and Dr. Yumnan Jayanta Singh, Director, NIELIT, Guwahati.
Prof. Sunandan Baruah, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Dean Research, ADTU, Dr. Saurav Mahanta, Sr. Technical Officer, NIELIT, and Mr. Manas Pratim Das, Project Engineer, NIELIT were also present at the MoU signing.

The MoU envisages building up a technical relationship between the two institutes in reskilling and empowering the students in areas of ICT either in Digital Literacy or Industry oriented areas or Livelihood activities including Nursing, Hospitality, Management, etc.

The collaboration is aimed at nurturing talents in various domains with the help of technology that will contribute to the national interest.

Based in Guwahati, the NAAC accredited university has completed 11 glorious years since its inception and has a strong international presence with students coming from neighbouring countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh and as fas as Rwanda, Nigeria and South Africa.
