GUWAHATI: Several health workers including a doctor at Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMCH) in Assam have tested positive for COVID-19. On Thursday, 23 health workers of the medical college were found positive for COVID-19.
On the other hand, another senior doctor in Tezpur town has been detected with COVID-19. The increasing number of cases in the town has become a matter of grave concern for its residents.
Similarly, six health workers of Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) in Barpeta have been found COVID-19 positive.
Earlier, several other health workers in the state were infected with Coronavirus in the line of duty against the pandemic.
