GUWAHATI: Maintaining its extensive testing of COVID-19, Assam has crossed the 5 lakh-mark on Thursday.
Sharing the news, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote on Twitter, “As we continue our fight against the pandemic there are some milestones that need to be celebrated. I am very proud of my team for having achieved the 5 lakh #COVID19 testing mark today. My compliments to the team of doctors, health department officials and support staff.”
So far, 508973 tests have been conducted in Assam.
