Assam: COVID-19 patients at MMCH, Himanta Biswa Sarma meets medical team

GUWAHATI: Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday evening visited Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH), Guwahati to enquire about the health of four COVID-19 patients admitted there.

These patients are being kept in isolation at MMCH and the health minister is in constant touch with the medical team at the hospital. Dr. Sarma met the doctors and the health workers and requested them to take all necessary precautions while attending to these patients.

Of Friday evening, Assam had 20 COVID-19 positive patients, three of them are from Uttar Pradesh. All these patients are connected to the Tablighi Jamaat meet held in Nizamuddin, New Delhi recently.

Four #COVID19 patients are kept in isolation at MMCH. Visited the Hospital to enquire about conditions of these patients. Also met doctors to enquire about their well-being and requested them to take all necessary precautions while attending to patients.
