GUWAHATI: Assam has done more than 59 thousand COVID-19 tests so far, said health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. Addressing a press meet in Guwahati, Dr. Sarma stated that the State has conducted 59 thousand 500 tests so far.
He also said that Assam has been conducting nearly 2500 tests on daily basis. The state will be able to carry out 5000 tests.
Assam has also surpassed Kerala in terms of COVID-19 tests.
