GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday morning visited the Silchar Medical College and Hospital(SMCH) to meet the injured police officials in the Assam- Mizoram border incident.
The Chief Minister directed the doctors and health department officials to ensure best treatment for the injured Police officials.
Also, CM Sarma asked the authorities to send the seriously injured police personnel for higher level of treatment by air ambulance on priority.
Notably, the Chief Minister was accompanied by DGP Assam Police Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta, Minister Pijush Hazarika, Minister Ashok Singhal and local MLAs of the area.
