GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal met flood-affected people in Jamdoha area in Bongaigaon on Tuesday. Jamdoha is one of the worst-hit areas by the floods in Bongaigaon district.
Sonowal assured all the possible help to the deluge-hit people to overcome the trying times.
Later, CM Sonowal also visited a flood relief camp at Chalantapara Government MP School.
He was accompanied by ministers Keshab Mahanta, Phanibhushan Choudhury and Bongaigaon deputy commissioner Dr. S Lakshmipriya.
Earlier, Sonowal also met flood affected people in relief camps of Chirang district.
