GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal urged the people of the state to light bonti (diya) at 6 PM on April 14 in-front of every household which marks the first day of Assamese New Year.
Extending his greetings to the citizens on the occasion of Rongali Bihu and Assamese New Year, Sonowal expressed hope that the lighting of diyas on the first day of Bohag month will boost the morale of the people in the fight against COVID19.
অসমবাসীক মই অনুৰোধ জনাইছোঁ- আপোনালোকে যাতে অসমীয়া নতুন বছৰৰ প্ৰথম দিনটোত অৰ্থাৎ কাইলৈ সন্ধিয়া ৬ বজাত ঘৰৰ পদূলিমুখত এগছিকৈ বন্তি প্ৰজ্বলন কৰে।
