GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal virtually launched the website of Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports university at Chabua, Assam.
Sonowal launched the website virtually from his official residence in Guwahati. Sharing the update through a Twitter post Sonowal tweeted,”CM Shri @sarbanandsonwal virtually launched sasu.ac.in, the website of Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University, Chabua at his official residence in Guwahati.

It is to be mentioned that the Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University is a public state university located at Chabua, Dibrugarh district, Assam. The university was established by The Assam Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University Act, 2018 which was passed by the Assam Legislative Assembly on 26 September 2018 and received the assent of the Governor of Assam on 10 December 2018.
Earlier, on 10 July Jai Prakash Verma took charge as the first Vice-Chancellor at the University.
