GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday condemned the attack on BJP national president JP Nadda.
“I strongly condemn the attack on @BJP4India President Shri @JPNadda ji in Bengal. Under TMC, the state is constantly turning towards anarchy and this should not be allowed. India’s democratic values cannot be eroded due to political vendetta. #MamataKillsDemocracy,” the Chief Minister Tweeted.
It is to be mentioned that BJP President JP Nadda’s convoy was attacked and several BJP leaders including Kailash Vijayvargiya were injured when protesters pelted stones at their vehicles at West Bengal’s Diamond Harbour.
