GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma who was in Dhubri since Wednesday offered prayers at the Dhubri gurudwara.
Taking to his Twitter CM Sarma wrote, “Gurdwara Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji, located in the heart of Dhubri on the bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, holds great spiritual importance for Sikh community. Visited the historic shrine today with Hon Min Sri @RanjeetkrDass. May Waheguru ji bless us with peace & happiness.”

The CM also interacted with the media and said that gurudwaras carries memories of Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur.
On Wednesday, the Chief Minister visited different Puja in the district and took blessings from goddess Durga. He also met and interacted with the local people.
