Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday night, hosted a dinner for all the MPs from the state at Assam Bhawan in Delhi.
Assam MPs, cutting across party lines, were invited to the dinner hosted by the CM Sarma.
Apart from the BJP MPs, Congress parliamentarians Gaurav Gogoi, Pradyut Bordoloi and Ripun Bora also attended the dinner party.
Independent MP Ajit Bhuyan also attended the dinner hosted by the Assam chief minister.
Taking to his Twitter CM Sarma wrote, “At #Assam Bhawan today I had the great pleasure of hosting a dinner for Hon MPs of Assam. I sought their inputs & guidance as to how we can collectively accelerate pace of development of our state. I thank all friends for their generosity in sparing time for this get together.”
