Guwahati: With declining COVID19 cases, the Assam Government has allowed the reopening of cinema halls with 50% capacity.
Addressing a press conference Health Minister Keshab Mahanta said that the state government has allowed the reopening of cinema halls with 50% capacity.
Minister Mahanta also added that all the visitors must be vaccinated with both the doses and Cinema halls should maintain COVID-19 protocols.
He also stated that curfew relaxation has been extended by 1 hour and the Curfew will now remain in place from 10 PM to 5 AM.
Shops are allowed to stay open till 9 PM. The new timing will be effective from today.
