GUWAHATI: A reshuffle of the Sarbananda Sonowal cabinet will take place at 9 am today (Jan 18) with sources claiming that two new faces will be inducted into the council of ministers.
Mahmora MLA Jogen Mohan and Tinsukia legislator Sanjay Kishan have been tipped to get a berth in the Sarbananda Sonowal-led cabinet.
Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi is expected to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the two BJP MLAs at the Raj Bhawan in Guwahati.
Meanwhile, sources told News Live that major changes in portfolios of existing ministers are also on the cards.
It needs to be mentioned that election for state BJP president will also take place tomorrow in Guwahati.
