With the aim to reduce traffic points in Guwahati, the Assam Government has decided to construct three new flyovers in the city.
The three new flyovers will be constructed in:
– Near Down Town Hospital
– Cycle Factory junction on Guwahati-Garbhanga Road
– Kumarpara-Fatasil Road
The decision was taken in a Cabinet Meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in Silchar on Tuesday (November 29).
After the cabinet meeting, CM Sarma made the announcement in a press conference in Silchar.
The Chief Minister said that the DPR will be prepared for the flyovers and it will take one year time to prepare the same.
